This is another angle of the Grand Canyon in a different location. You can see the shadows of the clouds on the canyon itself, it is really cool. I still stand by my previous statement, a photo cannot capture the essence and massiveness of the Grand Canyon. It feels like a painting along the horizon when you look out over it.
This is one of my favourite shots of the trip to my friend’s cottage in northern Ontario. It was a lot of fun canoeing around the lake and checking out what was supposed to be a waterfall but was in fact a rapid because the water was so high this year. We have gotten and are still getting record amounts of rain and it is putting a strain on our water ways.
The location of this photo is unknown to me. I cannot remember where I had taken it, but it is a nice shot. The sun is reflecting in the calm lake, the tree on the right takes some of the suns intensity away, and the hills in the background add to the horizon.
I was on my way home from work one day and I happened to look over behind me and saw this view. The rain in the distance looked cool and it was an interesting perspective to see rain from. You can see the way the wind moves the path of the rain as it falls from the sky and where it is heavier.
