This photo was taken atop Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks. It was a very cloudy day but that did not stop us. By the time I had reached the top I was in a t-shirt and jeans. We got fairly warm during the hike up so we took layers off to ensure that we would not sweat. But I can assure you, once I got to the clearing on top the wind convinced me that I needed more than just a t-shirt.
This is a pretty cool picture of Sedona, AZ, displaying the layers of dirt that it contains. There is red sand everywhere there and it is really cool to actually see. I stopped there for a night or two on my way back from the Grand Canyon one year. I got a lot of neat photos of a place that looks surreal with all the iron in the dirt.
The location of this photo is unknown to me. I cannot remember where I had taken it, but it is a nice shot. The sun is reflecting in the calm lake, the tree on the right takes some of the suns intensity away, and the hills in the background add to the horizon.
This is a photo of what I believe is Camelback Mountain in Phoenix Arizona. We were on another hike that I can’t quiet remember the name of and happened to have a wonderful view of it. I like all the houses included in the photo as well as the mountains in the background.
